Soweto and surrounding schools. Delivery depends on agreed school participation, funding and resources; these are plans, not completed outcomes.

Why digital inclusion matters

Access is the beginning. Confidence comes through practice.

School assignments, further-study applications and workplace tasks increasingly involve digital tools. Young people need opportunities to use those tools, ask questions and practise with guidance.

Boundless 1,000 Digital Futures aims to combine access with practical learning and career exposure. Schools, funders and specialist partners can help young people connect what they learn today with the choices ahead.

Proposed learning focus

Practical skills. Wider possibilities.

Digital confidence

Digital literacy, productivity tools and practical ICT activities, with Computer Applications Technology (CAT) support shaped around school needs.

Emerging technology

Introductory coding, computational thinking, responsible AI awareness and robotics exposure, subject to the agreed resources and delivery scope.

Future pathways

Career guidance, entrepreneurship and problem-solving activities that connect learning with further study and workplace possibilities.

Support for schools

Explore CAT teacher development, digital resources and campus-based immersion alongside learner activities.

The final programme, timetable and learning outcomes will be agreed with participating schools and partners. Participation does not guarantee a qualification or employment.

A school-aligned delivery model

Build the programme around real needs.

  1. Agree the school priorities.

Work with school leadership and relevant governance structures to identify needs, cohorts and an appropriate timetable.

  2. Match support to the plan.

Agree funding, equipment, connectivity and specialist support, with clear responsibilities and safeguarding arrangements before delivery.

  3. Learn, practise and report.

Plan after-school or holiday activities and visits to Boundless Soweto Campus. Review attendance, practical learning progress and partner feedback against agreed measures.

Boundless Foundation will coordinate the partnership, with specialist delivery proposed through Boundless Academy and suitable collaborators.

Clear commitments. Useful evidence.

Before delivery, we will agree how reach, attendance, participation and practical skills progress are recorded. Partner reporting should distinguish planned activities from completed delivery and share aggregated outcomes while protecting learners’ personal information.

School approvals, appropriate consent and safeguarding arrangements form part of delivery planning. Please use the enquiry form for organisational interest; do not submit learner records or children’s personal information.
